This episode we meet Ezra Hirawani from Nau Mai Ra a kaupapa Maori power company, the first of it’s kind.  It teams up with its customers to support customer chosen charities, Marae, or Kura, not with profits, but as part of their power bill, whether the company runs at a profit or loss.  We dig in to Ezra’s early efforts to take his opportunities in hand and turn some pretty amazing profits from a small hand full of cash. We find out how he’s turned life his experiences into a positive path that has lead him to success and plans to turn things around for Maori and hopefully in Aotearoa.
