The Branding Portrait.
A branding portrait is more than a passport picture could ever been. It’s purpose isn’t to identify you, but tell a story about you. It should help the viewer connect with you and say something about you. This can be a formal corporate style or something environmental telling a deeper story.
Sometimes I get a whole bunch of time to create a set of portraits for my clients, but sometimes clients are busy and need to get as many options as possible in the shortest amount of time. So key for me is to get have several sets of shirts or tops or jackets so that in one sitting we can get options to use in multiple situations.
Look and think before opening the shutter. The heart and mind are the true lens of the camera.

Horizontal and vertical options are helpful too, whether it’s for a profile pic on your staff page, or a banner graphic for your Facebook page, you can create multiple options from one sitting and get far more impact.
Rikihana is one of the nicest guys I’ve met. Good fun to talk with and great results from the sitting. It didn’t take long to get through several options as you can see above, and with the banner mockup I put quickly together for this post you can really get a professional package together.
The next step is to create some short form videos on Rikihana’s Why and Origin stories to help clients engage with him and develop new clients. I was really happy to help Rikihana on his journey.
